Ask the Academy to honour the community
use agreement and find out about future access to the site:
- Ask local councillors to support you
and put pressure on the Academy for public consultation
- Write to the council planning department
with concerns about the planning process, and any problems
you envisage with traffic, loss of green space, etc.
- Contact Bristol City Council corporate
complaints department if you are unhappy with any of the
council's actions or responses.
Below is a list of useful contacts. It
is advisable to make your letters specific, detailing exactly
what information you require. This will make it more difficult
for respondents to fob you off with vague, non-specific or
irrelevant replies (and they will try!).
It is also worth noting that Bristol City
Council is obliged to give a written reply within 15 working
days. Mentioning this in any correspondence is recommended.
